The apple tree (metaphor)

The apples at the top of the tree are the juiciest, most radiant and shiniest apples ever, the further toward the bottom of the tree you get, the more rotten the apples become. Some apples have fallen on to the floor because they're so rotten and taste absolutely disgusting, the apples are like girls and the people who pick them are usually boys. Boys tend to pick up the rotten apples because they're closer and easier to reach, they ignore the good apples nearer the top of the tree and that makes the good apples think they're not good enough and they begin to envy the rotten apples. Those boys who dare to climb the tree in search of a good apple are the happiest boys ever because the apples are perfect for them unlike the rotten, lower apples. I wasn't one of those boys (take Mercede for example) but November - college - means a clean slate and a chance to create a new reputation in a place where I don't know anybody, I'm going to take advantage of my clean slate and try and pick a good apple because so far, all the apples in my life have been rotten and I'm still searching for the juiciest, shiniest, red apple I can find - the one that's perfect for me and I will spend the rest of my life sucking (sounds really gross!)
