About half an hour ago I text from my record company: "Yo, Ivan, it's Michael, we need you at the studio stat, I don't care if you're busy - it's important so be here asap - see you soon, man!" I ended up running to the NYC EMI records HQ to meet with my manager Michael but it turns out that his idea of important isn't the same as mine, the issue is that a top client of his called Cliff Helger had to leave for an urgent buisness meeting and he didn't know where to leave his seventeen year old daughter Lily so Michael made me baby-sit her since we were almost the same age which was a total and utter disaster! It turns out Lily's dad's actually a record company owner himself and is also a billionaire who totally spoils Lily and gets her anything she wants so she expected me to do the same so she dragged me into Urban Outfitters, American Apparel and Forever21 and I ended up spending over $500 on some stuck-up teenager I hardly know - so annoying! My credit card's almost empty and I never carry cash in case I'm mobbed my a stampede of crazed fans so my mum is not going to be impressed and she's probably going to cut my allowance to only $250 per week which considering I'm worth $34,000,00 is not a large amount of money, I'm so glad my birthday's coming up soon, such a life-saver! Oh yeah, my mum's friend Laurie's in NYC but she's leaving town tomorrow to go on a cruise around the world so she gave me my present early and I persuaded my mum to let me open it and it turned out to be a $500 Target giftcard! I am so excited - on the weekend, I'm going out with my mum, aunt, uncle, two cousins, Andy, Ellie, Jake and Olivia to spend it and I'm starting to plan my eighteenth birthday party too so I already began the guestlist but my mum said the maximum is fiftyt's pretty strict luckily I'm used to compromising!
